About Our Farm

We are a local brown egg and pasture poultry farm that treats animals and
the environment with a respect that’s reflected in everything we do and sell.

Naturally Raised Poultry

Our Broilers are pasture-raised and out on grass! Their diet consists of plant-based corn and soybean ration, fresh grass daily.

Cage Free Eggs

Quality fresh brown eggs collected by hand and washed daily. Our Happy Hens are cage-free! Our hen’s diet consists of all natural plant foods and grains, and grass so their eggs are high in protein and omegas.

 

Our birds are free-range and raised without (unnecessary) pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics and fed a well-balanced diet to maintain optimal health and production.

Naturally Raised

We feed our chickens diatamaceous earth also known as fossil shell flour to control parasites and worms. We use fossil shell flour in low pans with lime where the hens love to "dust" themselves. The fossil shell flour works like micro pieces of glass and cuts up any parasites. Eliminating parasites naturally leaves the hens less stressed and more productive-all without chemical pesticide use.

Using these two simple remedies eliminates the use of antibiotics and pesticides commonly used in large scale conventional egg production to control these issues. This makes the end product of eggs and the meat completely free of commonly used chemicals by simply not using them! Just a couple more peace-of-mind reasons to try Amanda's eggs and pasture poultry!
